Ski-ing in Soldeu

Ski-ing in Soldeu (Andorra) with Nick and Isobel Evans

SKI-ING AND SKI INSTRUCTION - Soldeu (Grand Valira), Andorra.

... perhaps not the title you expected to see on a web-site for a town in Southern France!

However, as luck would have it and, as generally the winter season in Sallèles is very quiet, Nick and Isobel leave Greg in charge of the house and head to the slopes, where they are full-time ski instructors in Soldeu (Andorra).

As many of you know, the Soldeu Ski School has an unequalled reputation for quality teaching and value for money in the stunning ski area of Grand Valira, with more than 200km of marked runs as well as plenty of easily-accessible off-piste.

Those of you who already know Nick will be very aware that the off-piste area is his favourite playground, where he’s very happy to share his experience and enthusiasm with others; he is also one of the few instructors qualified to teach Telemark ski-ing.

However, for the less adventurous and those wishing to improve their general skills and techniques, both Isobel and Nick are equally at home on any of the fabulously groomed pistes in the ski area.

We both teach in French as well, and are just as happy teaching everything from small children to nervous ladies - but preferably not at the same time!

There are a couple of organisations who specialise in Gap Year courses and Instructor training in Soldeu, if you wish to take your
ski-ing to a different level:
Pro Ski Training
Instructor Academy

We know both companies well and often help out with the instructor training schemes.
