In any other establishment, this would be a suite – an enormous room overlooking the Canal, with a king-sized bed (160cm), walk-in wardrobe, chaise-longue, writing table and chair, coffee table and armchair - easily takes 2 extra beds – and a cot!

The bathroom is equally impressive – a huge walk-in shower, free-standing roll-top bath, twin washbasins and separate wc.

Stylishly furnished with a period suite of standard double bed (140cm), wardrobe and small chest, plus a couple of comfy chairs and a large writing desk - space for at least 1 extra bed.

The bathroom has a bath with shower, washbasin, wc and bidet.

A sunny quiet room at the back of the house, looking towards the Corbières, with original floor tiles, and modern waxed pine furnishings. Twin divans (can make up as a large double for stays of 3 nights or more), wardrobe and chest of drawers, comfy chair – and room for an extra bed.

A more contemporarily styled room overlooking the village, with lovely original floor tiles, sympathetically coordinated colours, and a beautiful moulded ceiling. One double divan (140cm), built-in storage, chest of drawers, coffee table and chairs. Room for 1 extra bed.

There is a screen closing off the shower corner with washbasin, and separate WC – we chose not to build in a complete bathroom, as that would have meant cutting into the original ceiling mouldings.
